Hard Chrome Plating Services

Hanner Machine’s hard-plating immersion process applies a hard-chromium plate to the interior and exterior surfaces of a steel substrate to improve corrosion and wear resistance. The company cleans and polishes the substrate prior to the application and also polishes it post-application. The coating is visually inspected to ensure the proper finish and the coating thickness (a minimum of .001" to a maximum .010+" per side). Parts have a maximum length of 9’ along the exterior surface and 6’ along the interior surface with a maximum diameter of 17". Hanner does small to large runs for clients in the mining, industrial, construction, agriculture, machinery, oil, gas, petroleum and railroad industries. The company uses only AWS-certified welders and never sub-contracts, preferring to do all of its work in-house.
